Join us for an exploration of relationships through storytelling and art making Thursday March 30th, 10 am – 4:30pm at the Baggage Building Arts Centre, located at 2200 Sleeping Giant Pkwy in Thunder Bay. The event will begin with an opening ceremony led by Elder Diane Michano-Richmond. Community-engaged artists Eleanor Albanese and Michelle Richmond Saravia will guide the creative process. Admission is free, and a complimentary lunch will be provided.

This event will contribute to Article 63 of the Call to Actions contained in the Truth and Reconciliation Report, which calls for “building student capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy, and mutual respect,” and Article 83, which calls for “a strategy for Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists to undertake collaborative projects and produce works that contribute to the reconciliation process”.
